Product Information
One of the most popular and simple upgrades for any F2x M140i or M240i owner. Installation of this intake tube (found on models built for hot climates) opens up an additional channel from the front air dam to the air filter box. This allows for more cool air to be directed into your intake system, meaning lower inlet temperatures and a small performance gain. Optionally available to order with a 'drop in' BMC high performance air filter.

Great service, good advice
I don't know why BMWs landed here have the EU/UK (cold climate) air intake. The hot climate intake is standard in the southern USA - far more like our climate.
I took some advice from Sean, who couldn't have been more helpful, and ordered this OEM kit on a Thurdsay morning with other parts. To my surprise, it arrived in Perth the next day! Impressed with the service.
