WHAT IS BOOTMOD3?
bootmod3 or BM3 is a Cloud-based BMW tuning platform with a web-based interface and mobile apps for iOS and Android. Developed and tested in-house from the ground up since its November 2016 debut with new features and update added regularlyup to makes the bootmod3 platform the custom BMW factory DME tuning solution like no other on the market today.
Build the ultimate tune for your N20 (20i & 28i) powered vehicle and go from stock to full race calibration, and everywhere in between, with a map switch in the provided mobile app. bootmod3 calibrates the factory vehicle modules over the OBD port in a matter of minutes in the convenience of your driveway or anywhere internet access is available.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

One OTS map/tune INCLUDED with the purchase and any other maps labelled as "FREE".
Datalogging over 200 diagnostic channels, up to 40 channels concurrently.
Datalog sharing and charting without a need to upload to 3rd party websites or apps using the mobile app or web browser.
Cloud-based storage for map data and datalogs.
Reverting back to stock performance map and re-locking the DME to stock programming.
Live Dash - realtime vehicle parameter monitoring via in-app gauges.
Diagnostics.
Read and clear trouble codes in all vehicle modules.
Off the shelf (OTS) map bundle optionally available complete will all OTS tune maps 91/93/Race gas/E85 octane.
Custom tuning available through tuners in the bootmod3 Tuner Directory. bootmod3 contains a full map editor so you can tune your car yourself or with your local tuner of choice as well.

Max Cooling Mode.
Cold start (cat heating on startup) removal for quieter cold start.
Your bootmod3 software license purchase by default includes one paid OTS map and you can choose the one most appropriate for your hardware modifications and octane upon license activation. It also includes any other FREE maps listed in the OTS Maps screen.
In case your modifications or octane change or you'd like to try a different OTS map more suited to your needs we offer a OTS Maps Bundle which provides flash access to ALL of the OTS Maps available in the OTS Maps screen for your vehicle.
An Ethernet to OBD (ENET) cable is required to connect your laptop to your vehicle. If your laptop doesn't have an Ethernet port or you are looking at using an iOS or Android device for tuning, we offer adaptors for Lightning (iOS), USB-C (Android) or USB connection. Be sure to add any accessories you require when purchasing your BM3 license.
The all-new bootmod3 (BM3) Wireless OBDII Wi-Fi ENET CANBUS Flash Adapter can be used as an alternative to the traditional ENET cable connection. The bootmod3 Wi-Fi adapter can be purchased separately HERE.
HOW DO I INSTALL BOOTMOD3 ON MY CAR?
bootmod3 takes less than 5 minutes to install on your vehicle. Detailed instructions for the installation process can be found HERE.
We can also assist with remote or in house installation (Melbourne only) for an additional cost. Please contact us to arrange having this done.
CAN I RE-SELL OR TRANSFER MY LICENSE?
Yes! bootmod3 is the only flash solution where the license can be resold and/or transferred to a new VIN when/if you decide to move on for any reason. Having re-sale value is a great advantage to choosing bootmod3 for your tuning which is NOT available with any other flash tune.
License transfer is restricted to the original order purchase and buyer. Transferred licenses cannot be transferred more than once.
Any previously purchased OTS maps and custom tunes by the original buyer are not transferrable due to map data incompatibilities between cars.
To transfer a license you need to flash the car with the Stock Tune AND DME RELOCKED using bootmod3 interface. Further information on the transfer process can be found here.
FLASHING BACK TO STOCK AND LOCKING THE DME WITH ANY OTHER FLASH TOOLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
