A seat mount is primarily a safety-related component and Speed Engineering have designed this side mount set for use with almost any fixed back racing seat as such. Breakouts and the shape of the components are not chosen arbitrarily, but are based on the results of calculations and simulations of the stress curves in the loaded state.
Each Speed Engineering seat component have been subjected to an FEM simulation in order to ensure safety first and consequently to optimize the weight. In addition, the mount set has been designed to achieve the lowest possible and at the same time a central seating position in front of the steering wheel. The seat mount set is also designed so that adjustable rails can also be mounted.
Speed Engineering avoid the unwieldy countering of difficult-to-access nuts under the console by internal threads in the component. Less fastening material, less effort, smooth installation, with maximum utilization of the given installation space, which was recorded and measured using a 3D scanner.
After numerous tests, the Speed Engineering L-adapters were designed in 4 mm steel and have well thought-out placement of the holes in order to adjust the lowest possible position with a wide variety of seat shell shapes. The double row of holes allow you to set the height of the seat to suit your exact requirement.
With this construction, Speed Engineering were able to reduce the lever arms between the attachment points. As a result, there are lower loads due to lower torques . Thus, the console consists of two parts and not only reduces the weight, but also the effort of assembly. With the F-series models, Speed Engineering were able to do without oblong holes, since the manufacturing tolerances of the vehicles are sufficiently small to be able to work with blind holes.

This seat mount set is suitable for use with various fixed back racing seats on the driver's side of the vehicle only. An optional slider rail kit can also be ordered.
