APEX FORGED TOURING LINE TC-10RT
The APEX TC-10RT is part of the Touring Line of forged wheels, developed specifically for selected Audi and Volkswagen applications. Its split ten-spoke design draws inspiration from Touring Car Racing, combining motorsport heritage with modern forged construction.
Brake clearance was a central requirement throughout development, including accommodation of the large factory eight-piston brakes fitted to models such as the Audi 8V RS3 and TT RS. The TC-10RT combines strength, stiffness and weight reduction with fitments designed around the requirements of these platforms.

TC-10RT FEATURES
10K TONS OF PRESSURE
APEX uses specialised equipment capable of 10,000 metric tonnes of pressure to produce its forged wheels. This extreme pressure increases the strength of the aluminium by eliminating porosity and improving the grain structure.
TRUE MOTORSPORT BLANKS
Unlike manufacturers who rely on generic blanks intended for non-performance wheels, APEX designs its own motorsport-specific blanks from scratch. This allows for greater flexibility in spoke design, concavity, sizing, and brake clearance, ensuring the wheels are purpose-built for high-performance applications.
SIDE-MILLED SPOKES
The TC-10RT features side-milled spokes to reduce weight. Any excess material that doesn’t add strength is machined out using a precision CNC ball cutter. Side-milling is often deemed cost-prohibitive by others, but for true performance without compromise, APEX believes it is essential.
SPRINT INNER LIP
The TC-10RT borrows the race-proven Sprint Spec inner lip from the Sprint Line wheels, providing critical strength to the unsupported inner lip of the wheel. Reinforcement is concentrated in this vulnerable area to improve durability for both road and track use.
WEIGHT OPTIMISED
APEX conducted extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to reinforce high-stress areas and remove material where it didn’t improve strength. The result is a wheel that is exceptionally light without the strength compromises found on typical lightweight wheels.
INDEPENDENTLY TESTED
APEX does not rely solely on computer simulations or in-house testing. The TC-10RT is independently tested by ITS, with testing extending beyond standard JWL requirements through increased duration, impact severity and loading.
BIG BRAKE CLEARANCE
The TC-10RT’s barrel and spoke geometry were developed around demanding Audi/VW brake packages. This includes the large factory eight-piston calipers fitted to selected models, alongside aftermarket big brake upgrades.

MOTORSPORT HERITAGE
The TC-10RT takes its visual direction from the wheels used on Audi and Volkswagen Touring Car Racing machines. APEX translated that competition-inspired appearance into a forged design for street and track use, retaining the distinctive split ten-spoke arrangement while optimising the wheel’s structure.
BUILT FOR IMPACT SOCKETS
Track wheels need track tools. Don’t settle for wheels that require undersized tuner lugs or thin walled sockets. All APEX wheels accommodate over-sized race lugs and impact sockets to make swapping wheels lightning fast.

LASER ENGRAVED SPECS
As car enthusiasts, APEX know how frustrating it is to locate and decipher wheel specs that have been hastily marked on a wheel or become unreadable over time. All Touring Line wheels have laser-engraved specs on the barrel, in plain sight, making them easy to find and read.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
HUB CENTRIC
TC-10RT wheels are purpose built for selected Audi/VW applications. Intended applications provide a direct hub-centric fit without locating rings.
CENTRE CAPS
A gloss black APEX centre cap is included. Compatible OE centre caps can be used on applicable fitments. Refer to Key Details for the selected wheel’s compatibility.
WHEEL HARDWARE
The TC-10RT is designed to use original mounting hardware on its intended applications. Suitable aftermarket hardware, wheel locks and stud conversion kits can also be used where compatible with the wheel and vehicle.
TPMS
All APEX wheels are compatible with both OEM and aftermarket Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), as well as standard-fit valve stems.
