Eventuri intake systems use a Patent Pending carbon fibre housing which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the MAF tube. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield but a unique design which invokes the Venturi affect.
The BMW E39 M5 Eventuri intake is designed to offer a complete solution as an upgrade to the stock airbox system. The aim was to develop an intake system for the S62 engine which worked with the stock ECU map and MAF sensors and produced a genuine improvement in the driving experience. With the Eventuri Patent Pending Venturi housing, they have ensured that the airflow remains as laminar as possible. Furthermore, the addition of a true cold air feed by adding scoops integrated with the front fog lamps results in the lowest possible inlet air temperature. This leads to an optimised intake system which delivers noticeable performance gains consistently.

PRODUCT DETAILS
Carbon Intake Housing Assembly
The filter housings comprise of the high flow filters, aluminium cowls and the carbon pods themselves. The carbon pods shroud the reverse mounted filter and smoothly shape the airflow down to the MAF tubes. This smooth reduction in cross sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where the airflow accelerates whilst maintaining laminar conditions. The bespoke filters aid the airflow moving through the housings and allow for an even velocity profile as the airflow exits the housings.
Fog Lamp Ducts
To supply the intakes with cold air Eventuri designed replacement Foglamp surrounds with integrated ducts. The area for cold air entry has been maximised for the given shape and size of the surround and the duct transitions to the supplied flexible neoprene ducting tubes. While the car is in motion, ambient air is forced into these ducts which are connected to the neoprene tubes to transfer the airflow directly to the intakes. This ensures that the intakes do not get heat soaked and the engine is able to draw air at ambient temperatures.
All the components come together in the engine bay to produce a genuine improvement in the driving experience as well as providing an incredible visual display of form and function in complete harmony.
