The FTP Motorsport BMW N54 N55 S55 Low Temp Oil Thermostat Kit allows you to control the oil temperature of your engine between 90c to 110c on all N54, N55 or S55 powered vehicles fitted with an oil cooler. With this kit installed, the oil thermostat will open sooner and help to lower your overall oil temperature.
The included CNC replacement aluminum oil thermostat cover is an excellent way to dress up your N54 N55 S55 engine bay. The cover replaces BMW OEM thermostat housing lid part numbers 11427573212, 11427850293 and 11427637052.
Important information
Models built 2006-2007 require a specific thermostat - Type 07. All other models use the Type 08 version. Visual inspection of earlier cars is recommended before ordering. Only recommended for track use on S55 powered vehicles.
