When using original tyres, wheel offset spacers may be required.
Dampers are adjusted by easily operating adjustment wheels. Rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the vehicle construction.
For rear axle camber adjustment, installation of a vehicle-specific KW adjustable control arm set is recommended.

ABOUT KW VARIANT 2 (V2) COILOVERS
KW V2 Coilovers combine adjustable ride height with 16-click rebound damping adjustment, giving you control over both your vehicle’s stance and its driving feel. Also known as KW Variant 2, V2 offers a matched spring and damper package with the flexibility to personalise the balance between ride comfort and body control.
Compression damping is preset by KW for each vehicle application, while rebound damping can be adjusted to your preferences. This makes V2 suited to drivers who want responsive road handling and more control over their suspension setup.
FINE-TUNE YOUR REBOUND DAMPING
Rebound damping controls how quickly the suspension extends after being compressed, influencing how the vehicle settles after bumps and responds during changes in direction.
KW V2 uses KW’s Twin Valve Rebound Adjustable technology, known as TVR-A, to provide 16 clicks of low-speed rebound adjustment. “Low-speed” refers to the movement of the damper piston, rather than the speed of the vehicle.
The adjustment allows you to refine the response towards a more comfortable or firmer feel. Defined clicks make changes repeatable, so you can compare settings and return to your preferred setup.
A KW-DEVELOPED SETUP YOU CAN PERSONALISE
KW develops the spring rates and damper settings specifically for each application, with development supported by testing on its 7-post vehicle dynamics rig. The recommended settings provide a balanced starting point for everyday road use.
From there, you can adjust the rebound response to suit your preferences and wheel and tyre combination. Compression damping remains preset, so changes to the rebound adjuster do not alter the compression setting.
Adjustment is made manually at the dampers using an integrated adjustment wheel or the supplied adjuster, depending on the application. The location and accessibility of the adjusters vary with the vehicle’s suspension layout.
ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT
KW V2 provides continuous lowering within the kit’s tested range, allowing you to refine the vehicle’s stance while lowering its centre of gravity.
Threaded spring seats or separate height adjusters allow the ride height to be readjusted after installation. Height and rebound damping are adjusted separately, giving you the flexibility to set the lowering and then fine-tune the driving feel.

STAINLESS STEEL INOX-LINE CONSTRUCTION
KW V2 combines corrosion-resistant stainless steel strut housings with dirt-resistant trapezoidal threads and durable composite spring seats.
These components help maintain height-adjustment functionality when exposed to moisture and road dirt. Together with the matched springs and protection components, they support long-term durability in regular road use.

KW V1 OR KW V2 COILOVERS?
KW V1 provides adjustable lowering with fixed compression and rebound damping. It suits drivers who want to rely on KW’s preset setup without making damping adjustments.
KW V2 adds 16-click rebound adjustment, allowing you to personalise the suspension’s response while retaining KW’s preset compression damping.
Both provide adjustable ride height. Choose V1 for the simplicity of a fixed damping setup, or V2 if you want the flexibility to refine ride comfort and body control to your preferences.
