ABOUT KW VARIANT 3 (V3) RACING COILOVERS
KW V3 Racing coilovers combine adjustable ride height with independently adjustable compression and rebound damping for dedicated track and motorsport use.
Developed around the requirements of each vehicle, they give drivers the flexibility to refine suspension behaviour for different circuits, tyre setups and driving conditions.
INDEPENDENT COMPRESSION AND REBOUND ADJUSTMENT
The V3 Racing provides separate adjustment of low-speed compression and rebound damping.
Compression adjustment influences how the suspension supports the vehicle during braking, cornering and changes of direction. Rebound adjustment controls how quickly the suspension extends again, helping refine body movement and the vehicle’s response between corners.
Separate controls allow each characteristic to be adjusted individually, providing a clear way to develop the setup through testing.
SPRINGS AND DAMPERS DEVELOPED FOR MOTORSPORT
KW develops each V3 Racing application with consideration for axle geometry, ground clearance, spring rates, suspension travel and wheel loads.
Linear motorsport springs work with the application-specific dampers to support the intended track setup. Versions are available for different uses and tyre types, including semi-slick and slick applications where specified.
This makes selecting the correct kit an important part of matching the suspension to the vehicle’s preparation and intended use.
ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT AND RACING HARDWARE
Ride-height adjustment supports chassis setup within the kit’s specified operating range.
Depending on the application, V3 Racing uses twin-tube or monotube damper construction with high-strength aluminium or galvanised-steel housings. Selected applications include aluminium uniball top mounts, with geometry adjustment where the vehicle design allows.

KW V3 CLUBSPORT OR KW V3 RACING?
KW V3 Clubsport is designed for road cars that regularly attend track days. It combines independently adjustable compression and rebound damping with a setup developed for sports tyres and circuit driving.
KW V3 Racing also provides two-way damping adjustment, with its overall suspension design developed specifically for motorsport. Spring specification, damper construction and operating travel are selected around the intended racing application.
Choose KW V3 Clubsport for a car used on the road and at track days. Choose KW V3 Racing for a dedicated track or competition build requiring a motorsport-specific suspension package.
