FITMENT & REQUIREMENTS
- Suitable for all-wheel-drive BMW G80 M3 Sedan (M3 CS xDrive), and G82 M4 Coupe (M4 CS xDrive) models only. Refer to the model/variant list at the bottom of this page for full compatibility.
- Electronic damping control must be deactivated. A deactivation kit is included.
- Height adjustable front and rear axles (front axle threaded strut housings, rear axle adjustable springs + dampers).
- When using original tyres, wheel offset spacers may be required.
- Dampers are adjusted by easily operating adjustment wheels. Rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the vehicle construction.
- Clubsport coilover with top mount: only with front axle top mount available.
- V4 / V5 suspension struts / dampers made of aluminum or combined axle-wise from galvanized steel (FA) and aluminum (RA).

ABOUT KW VARIANT 5 (V5) CLUBSPORT COILOVERS
KW V5 Clubsport coilovers combine adjustable ride height with four-way adjustable damping and KW Solid Piston technology for road cars that regularly attend track days.
Developed around the demands of circuit driving and sports tyres, including semi-slicks, they bring motorsport damper technology to production-based vehicles. The focus is precise suspension response, controlled body movement and greater freedom to tailor the setup to the car, tyres and circuit.
SOLID PISTON TECHNOLOGY FROM MOTORSPORT
At the heart of V5 Clubsport is KW’s Solid Piston damper design. As the suspension moves, the piston displaces oil through a separate valve assembly, where the damping forces are generated.
This design allows a sensitive response even to small suspension movements, helping the dampers manage rapid changes in the road or track surface. It also gives KW greater scope to develop damping characteristics that combine body support with responsive wheel movement.
FOUR-WAY ADJUSTMENT FOR GREATER SETUP CONTROL
V5 Clubsport provides independent adjustment of low-speed and high-speed damping in both compression and rebound.
Compression controls resistance as the suspension compresses. Separate low-speed and high-speed settings allow body support during braking and cornering to be tuned alongside the response to sharper bumps and kerbs.
Rebound controls resistance as the suspension extends again. Adjusting its low-speed and high-speed behaviour separately gives additional control over how the suspension recovers after compression.
Here, low-speed and high-speed refer to movement within the damper, rather than the speed of the car. These four adjustments provide more scope to refine the suspension for different surfaces, tyre setups and driving preferences.
ADJUSTABLE RIDE HEIGHT AND SUSPENSION GEOMETRY
Continuous ride-height adjustment allows the vehicle’s height to be set within the kit’s specified range.
Where supplied, aluminium uniball top mounts allow camber adjustment where the vehicle design permits, with caster adjustment available on selected applications. This provides further scope to match the wheel alignment to the tyres and intended use.

KW V4 CLUBSPORT OR KW V5 CLUBSPORT?
KW V4 Clubsport provides three-way damping adjustment, with separate low-speed and high-speed compression settings and adjustable low-speed rebound. It offers substantial scope to refine a road and track setup.
KW V5 Clubsport adds independently adjustable high-speed rebound and KW Solid Piston technology. This gives drivers more detailed control over suspension movement, supported by a damper design developed for sensitive response and precise damping.
Both serve the road and track purpose of the Clubsport range. V5 Clubsport suits builds where finer suspension tuning and the benefits of Solid Piston technology are priorities.
