For many vehicles, brake cooling is recommended even under medium-heavy loads, even off the race track. This not only improves braking performance, but also drastically reduces wear on the brake pads and discs.
The Speed Engineering anchor plate uses the channelling of airflow to the centre of the brake disc to use the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. In doing so, the disc is targeted at a defined angle so as not to suffer any wastage and to use the available air volume as efficiently as possible. Due to the light construction in combination with powdered aluminium, the anchor plate is sufficiently strong and at the same time light and insensitive.
Important Information
The required brake hose diameter is 51mm (not included). The matching brake hose and hose clamps optionally available to order. A complete brake cooling kit for F2x 1 Series & 2 Series and F3x 3 Series & 4 Series is also available.
The anchor plate fits plug & play and no additional fastening material is required. The original attachment points and screws can be reused.

Suitable for F20 1 Series Hatch, F22 2 Series Coupe, F23 2 Series Convertible, F30 3 Series Sedan, F31 3 Series Touring, F34 3 Series Gran Turismo, F32 4 Series Coupe, F33 4 Series Convertible and F36 4 Series Gran Coupe rear wheel drive models (incl. M135i, M140i, M235i, M240i, 335i, 340i, 435i and 440i). Not for all-wheel drive models.
