SPEED ENGINEERING SEAT ADAPTER SET | DRIVER SIDE
FOR USE WITH THE OEM RAIL AND RECARO POLE POSITION SEATS
A seat mount is first and foremost a safety-critical component. Speed Engineering has designed this side mount set for the Recaro Pole Position seat with safety as the top priority. Every cut-out and contour of the components has been purposefully engineered based on stress analysis and simulation results under load conditions.
Each Speed Engineering seat mount component undergoes FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation to ensure maximum safety and optimal weight reduction.
This system allows you to mount a Recaro Pole Position seat directly onto the original manual or electric seat rail of BMW F-Series & G-Series models (and potentially other compatible models).
Installation is straightforward — the mount attaches using four screws in the same locations as the original seat, allowing you to retain the factory screw connections. Careful alignment ensures that the seat remains perfectly centred in front of the steering wheel. Seat height can be adjusted to your preference via the double row of mounting holes, which allows fine-tuning of the height position.
With this system, there’s no need for an additional seat console — you can take full advantage of the strength and rigidity of the OEM BMW seat rail.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Designed for use with Recaro Pole Position seats in conjunction with OEM manual adjustment slider rails on the driver’s side only. Also compatible with vehicles equipped with OEM electric seat rails when used together with the Speed Engineering Electric Switch Kit (available separately here). Excellent Product! Super Simple Install
100% recommend this to anyone who wants to keep their OEM sliding rail. Ridiculously easy to install (I fitting an OMP First R seat). Quality of the kit is amazing and the ease of install is crazy, I had the old seat out, brackets on, bucket set bolted up and in the car within 45 mins. I am 6ft and on the 2nd highest setting its perfect.
