The easiest way to retrofit Recaro Pole Position seats in a BMW is by using the Speed Engineering side mount kit that attacts directly to the OEM rails found here. However, the issue with this upgrade is that is was only compatable with cars that have the manual/mechanical running rails. Speed Engineering have now developed a kit so that you can also use these exact adapters with electric running rails. With the easy-to-upgrade Speed Engineering Electric Switch Kit, you'll be able to control the existing motor via a switch.
What are the advantages?
The Pole Position seat is positioned centrally with the steering wheel.
Easy installation.
Low costs, no extra seat console and no extra running rail necessary.
Use of OEM components.
All heavy components are removed with the OEM seat and only a single servomotor and the running rail remain.
The belt buckle and its attachment remain in place and you can continue to use your OEM belt.

Important Information
This electric switch kit is suitable for use with the 'Speed Engineering Seat Side Mount Set, Recaro Pole Position, OEM Rail' on both the driver and passenger side. The side adapters are not included and must be ordered separately.
