The SPL G8X adjustable Rear Upper Arms (RUA) are essential for maintaining correct rear camber and reducing tyre wear on both street and track vehicles. The factory BMW suspension has an aggressive camber curve through bump travel, which becomes especially noticeable on lowered cars. Excessive negative camber leads to premature inner-edge tyre wear and reduced traction under acceleration, while insufficient camber limits rear grip during cornering. SPL’s Rear Upper Arms provide a wide adjustment range for precise rear camber alignment, optimised for street or track use, while eliminating bushing deflection through the use of smooth-articulating, Teflon-lined rod ends in place of the soft OEM rubber bushings. This kit replaces the factory links commonly known as the rear wishbone and rear guide links.

The G8X Rear Upper Arms include gun-drilled 2024 aluminium traction links to reduce weight, along with a 6061-T6 billet aluminium curved upper camber arm, both finished in black anodising for corrosion resistance and durability. SPL’s exclusive 360-degree 6061-T6 aluminium Rotating Clamp design allows quick, precise adjustment of the dogbone, while the curved upper arm uses an innovative double-adjuster system that enables easy and accurate camber changes without removing the arm from the vehicle. The clamps are secured with blue-anodised titanium socket-head cap screws, providing accessible adjustment while further reducing unsprung weight without compromising strength. These Rear Upper Links deliver exceptional performance, durability and ease of adjustment — no more struggling with jam nuts while trying to keep bearings correctly oriented.
