APEX FORGED TOURING LINE ML-7RT
The APEX ML-7RT is part of the Touring Line of forged wheels, combining classic motorsport heritage with modern forging technology. Its design brings together an EC-7RS-inspired mesh face and a revised version of the ML-10RT’s outer lip, creating a distinctive wheel with a cleaner spoke arrangement and pronounced machined lip.
Designed by APEX’s in-house engineers, the ML-7RT combines fully forged construction, weight-saving spoke machining and vehicle-specific profiles to deliver strength, low weight and carefully considered fitment for street and track use.

ML-7RT FEATURES
MOTORSPORT DESIGN, REIMAGINED
The ML-7RT combines design elements from two established APEX wheels. Its mesh face draws on the EC-7RS, while its outer lip develops the platform introduced with the ML-10RT. The result retains the character of a classic lipped motorsport wheel, with a more streamlined face and revised transition between the spokes and outer lip.
SIDE-MILLED SPOKES
The ML-7RT incorporates APEX’s extra-deep, side-milled spokes. Any excess material that doesn’t add strength is machined out using a precision CNC ball cutter. Often deemed cost-prohibitive by others, this aggressive side-milling shaves critical weight and adds a sharp contrast in the design of the centre spoke area.
SPRINT INNER LIP
The ML-7RT borrows the race-proven Sprint Spec inner lip from the Sprint Line wheels, providing critical strength to the unsupported inner lip of the wheel. Reinforcement is concentrated in this vulnerable area to improve durability for both road and track use.
10K TONS OF PRESSURE
APEX uses specialised equipment capable of 10,000 metric tonnes of pressure to produce its forged wheels. This extreme pressure increases the strength of the aluminium by eliminating porosity and improving the grain structure.
TRUE MOTORSPORT BLANKS
Unlike manufacturers who rely on generic blanks intended for non-performance wheels, APEX designs its own motorsport-specific blanks from scratch. This allows for greater flexibility in spoke design, concavity, sizing, and brake clearance, ensuring the wheels are purpose-built for high-performance applications.
INDEPENDENTLY TESTED
APEX does not rely solely on computer simulations or in-house testing. Its Touring Line wheels are independently tested by ITS in Michigan, using JWL standards as a foundation with increased loads and longer testing durations.
REVISED MACHINED LIP
The ML-7RT features a revised junction between its face and outer lip. A consistent 1.5-inch outer lip is maintained across the range, while spoke concavity varies with the application. This allows narrower and wider fitments to share a consistent appearance when used together.
VEHICLE SPECIFIC SPOKE PROFILES
The lipped design of the ML-7RT inherently limits brake clearance. Rather than making every fitment as conservative as possible, APEX uses its extensive 3D vehicle scanning library to shape each fitment’s spokes around the respective OEM and popular aftermarket brake kits. This allows APEX to balance concavity with the clearance requirements of each application.
BUILT FOR IMPACT SOCKETS
Track wheels need track tools. Don’t settle for wheels that require undersized tuner lugs or thin walled sockets. All APEX wheels accommodate over-sized race lugs and impact sockets to make swapping wheels lightning fast.

OEM CENTRE CAP COMPATIBILITY
The ML-7RT supports flush-fitting original-equipment centre caps on applicable fitments. Drivers can use the included APEX caps or retain a factory appearance with compatible OE caps. Refer to Key Details for the selected wheel’s compatibility.
LASER ENGRAVED SPECS
As car enthusiasts, APEX know how frustrating it is to locate and decipher wheel specs that have been hastily marked on a wheel or become unreadable over time. All Touring Line wheels have laser-engraved specs on the barrel, in plain sight, making them easy to find and read.

HUB CENTRIC
All Forged Touring Line wheels are purpose built for select vehicle applications. Very few applications require locating rings.
CENTRE CAPS
A gloss black APEX centre cap is included. Compatible OE centre caps can be used on applicable fitments. APEX also offers additional colours for select fitments.
WHEEL HARDWARE
Wherever possible, APEX wheels are designed to be used with OEM mounting hardware as well as high-quality wheel spacers, stud conversion kits, wheel locks, and more.
TPMS
All APEX wheels are compatible with both OEM and aftermarket Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), as well as standard-fit valve stems.
