The perfectly optimized ESS Tuning S65 naturally aspirated ECU software for the E90, E92 and E93 M3 is a result of extensive road and track testing to optimize the calibration of ECU parameters and extract more performance on either a stock car or in combination with other modifications. Typical gains are a conservative +10-15hp and +10-12ft lbs of torque from software alone with calibration available for additional modifications.
The ESS S65 E9x M3 software starts with the latest BMW factory operating system and is developed and tested in extreme heat in the Arizona desert as well as extreme cold temperatures in Scandinavia to ensure flawless performance under any condition imaginable.
The ESS Tuning E-Flash OBD2 programming system allows the end user to upload the ECU tuning software directly to the car from any PC running Windows XP or newer. The system also includes full diagnostic and code clearing capability. Any future ESS software updates can be received by email and loaded directly to the car. The stock ECU software will be saved and can easily be restored in the future. This system is compatible with the latest tuner protected ECU software and does not require a backdating of the ECU software to be able to tune it.

An easy tweak that refines the engine
The first noticable difference was the throttle response, way more responsive the way it should have been from the start.
Removing the cold start - Starts up as per normal but goes straight to 600rpm instead of the 1500rpm.
All in all, I am very happy with the tweaks provided. To be honest I think it should be priced at the same level as the DCT tune which I also had done that gave more noticable every day results.
Recommended for the cold start and throttle response.
