Unleash the full potential of your G87 M2 with the all-new SouthernBM Performance Single Resonated Mid-Pipe – a precision-engineered upgrade designed to elevate both sound and performance.
Crafted from premium T304 stainless steel, this system features a free-flowing 95mm primary pipe that branches seamlessly into twin 70mm outlets. Unlike oversized systems that sacrifice response for noise, this configuration is carefully tuned to maximise power gains while delivering a refined, aggressive tone.
At the heart of the system is a high-efficiency resonator, strategically positioned to eliminate unwanted rasp and harsh frequencies—especially common in G87 M2s running aftermarket downpipes or louder exhaust setups. Combined with integrated thermal shielding along the mid-section, the system maintains optimal heat management without compromising clearance around the driveline.
The factory BMW cross-pipe design forces airflow through an unequal length configuration, which creates the signature—but often unpleasant—rasp. The SBM Mid-Pipe corrects this imbalance, smoothing out the tone and delivering a deeper, more composed exhaust note across the rev range.
By eliminating the factory secondary catalytic converters, this mid-pipe also achieves a notable weight reduction of 4.95kg, improving overall responsiveness and reducing stress on the exhaust system.
