SouthernBM's DME/ECU Bench Unlock applies the required one-time patch to restore OBDII tuning access, allowing the vehicle to be used with compatible tuning platforms and custom ECU tuning solutions.

The unlock itself does not alter the vehicle's performance or calibration. It simply provides the access required for tuning to take place afterwards.

Once unlocked, the DME/ECU can be accessed through the OBDII port using compatible tuning platforms such as bootmod3, MHD and MG Flasher, as well as supported custom ECU tuning solutions.

The Bench Unlock is not tied to one specific tuning platform, giving you the flexibility to choose the tuning solution that best suits your vehicle and requirements.

Any tuning licence, software or performance calibration is separate from the Bench Unlock unless specifically included as part of another SouthernBM package.
